Electric and Electronic Junk

The electric and electronic junk (WEE) generated by households and enterprises are received at stations certified by the producer associations, such as at Sortti stations.

The producer associations, in other words the associations formed by the device manufacturers and importers, are responsible for the management of electric and electronic waste.

It may be worthwhile offering devices which are still in good working order for reuse purposes.

Households

Household-generated electrical and electronic scrap (WEE) is accepted free of charge, however, only 3 items per device type/ customer/ delivery. Fluorescent tubes and energy saving bulbs are received in larger quantities per each delivery time.

The electric and electronic junk (WEE) is received at stations certified by the producer associations:

• Sortti stations 
• Touring collection vehicles 
• Other reception stations  

The cost-free reception does not include large amounts of devices and machines, which have been ripped off for vital parts, or special equipment meant for professional use.
