Glass
There are separated collection containers for coloured and clear glass.
Glass Collections MAY CONTAIN:
Rinse out all the glass packages. Sort out clear and coloured glass into the respective containers.
Remove corks and lids. It is not necessary to remove the bottle collars.
Glass Collections MAY NOT CONTAIN:
- china and earthenware
- window panes
- mirror glass
- car glass
- heat-resistance glass (such as borosilicate glass like pyrex cooking-ware, coffee pots and water glasses)
- opalescent glass (for instance in some cosmetic packages)
- crystalline
- light bulbs
What Happens to the Glass
The recycling glass is used as a raw material for new glass packages and fibre glass
Stores and Alko shops accept bottles with deposits.
