Reclamation
Electric and electronic junk (WEE) is collected separately, so that the materials extracted from the devices may be taken into reuse. Devices are cleared of detrimental substances, such as lead and mercury, which are forwarded for further treatment at a treatment plant for hazardous waste. After this, different sorts of metals, plastics and glass, for example, are separated and delivered to respective plants for reuse purposes. WEE collection and reclamation belong to the responsibilities of the producer.
